Notes, lists and databases for the people you share a life with. On the web, on your Mac, and soon on iPhone.

Getting started
Burrow runs in your browser and as a Mac app. Sign in with your Meadow account and you land in your workspace. The first time, pick Start with examples to see a few filled-in pages, Start blank, or drop in a Notion export .zip (no need to unzip it).
- Click New page in the sidebar (or press ⌘N in the Mac app).
- Type / to add a block: a to-do list, a heading, a table, a database, an image.
- Press ⌘K to search and jump to any page.
The sidebar has Search, Home, Tasks, Journal, Templates, Graph, Agents and Import, and Trash at the bottom.
What you can do
- Pages and blocks. Type / for text, to-do lists, headings, bulleted and numbered lists, toggles, quotes, callouts, dividers, simple tables, images, video, code, today's date and more. Markdown works too: # for a heading, - for a list, > for a quote, --- for a divider.
- Databases. Show the same rows as a Table, Board, List, Gallery or Calendar. Columns can be text, numbers, status, select, dates, checkboxes, people, relations, rollups, formulas, links, files and more.
- Tasks and Journal. Tasks gathers every to-do with a date. Journal makes one page per day (⇧⌘J for today's).
- Templates. Checklist, meeting notes, daily journal, grocery list, recipe box, meal planner, chores, home maintenance, gift ideas, itinerary, reading list, habit tracker, projects, content pipeline, clients and invoices.
- Comments. Comment on a page and @ to mention someone in your workspace.
- Share with people. Share menu → Invite people shares the whole workspace with family or teammates (Settings → People).
- Publish to web. Share menu → Publish to web makes a read-only link: anyone with it can read that page and the pages inside it, nothing else. Turn it off and the link stops working.
- AI. Press ⌘J, type /Ask AI, or use the ✨ button on a selection. Cloud AI comes with Plus for Burrow.
- Agents. Give an AI assistant (Claude, ChatGPT and others) its own token in Settings → Agents & API, so it can read your pages and keep memories. Each agent's work shows on the Agents page.
- Import and export. Import a folder of Markdown and CSV, or a Notion export .zip as it downloads. Export everything as Markdown (.zip, opens in Obsidian) or a full backup (.json).
- Reminders. Settings → Reminders sends one morning notification with what's due today and anything overdue.

Permissions
Burrow asks for one thing, and only if you want it: Notifications, when you click Turn on reminders in Settings → Reminders. If they're blocked, allow notifications for Burrow (in your browser's site settings, or System Settings → Notifications on the Mac) and try again.
What stays on your device, and what syncs
- Signed in, your pages sync to your Meadow account, so they're the same in the browser, on your Mac and on your phone. Burrow keeps a copy on each device, so it opens and works offline; edits made offline are sent when you're back online.
- Images and files you attach are stored in your account (up to 50 MB a file), so pages look the same everywhere.
- Not signed in (Mac app), pages stay on that Mac. Sign in to sync (in the workspace menu or Settings → Sync & data) offers once to copy them into your account. Without sync, files over 4 MB can't be attached.
- Published pages are readable by anyone with the link until you turn publishing off. Nothing else in your workspace is visible.
Troubleshooting
My changes aren't showing on another device. Check the sync status in the sidebar. "Offline" means edits are saved on this device and will be sent when you reconnect. If it says there's an error, reload the page (or quit and reopen the Mac app).
I deleted a page by mistake. Open Trash at the bottom of the sidebar and restore it. Pages stay there until you empty the trash.
The sign-in code hasn't arrived. It comes from Meadow, usually within a minute. Check spam and promotions, or use the link in the same email. See Signing in.
I paid but Burrow still shows the paywall. Click I've paid — check again. Make sure you're signed in with the email you paid with. Still stuck? Contact support.
Reminders don't arrive. Notifications must be allowed for Burrow: in your browser's site settings, or System Settings → Notifications on the Mac. Burrow also needs to be open, or installed as an app.
System requirements
- On the web: a current version of Safari, Chrome, Firefox or Edge.
- On a Mac: macOS 14 or later, Apple silicon (M1 or later).
- On iPhone: iOS 17 or later (coming to TestFlight).
- A Meadow account with Burrow in your plan.
Didn't find it? A real person replies, usually within a working day.
