LaunchingMidday, the whole field talking

Talk freely. Keep the useful parts.

Murmur listens to both sides of your calls, transcribes them on your Mac, and when the call ends turns your scribbles and the transcript into clean notes. The to-dos come out already pulled from the conversation.

No bot joins your call. For macOS 14 or later.

Both sides of the call

Your mic is You. Your Mac's sound is Them.

Murmur transcribes both sides as they talk while you jot your own notes. When the call ends it writes clean notes with the action items pulled out. Send any of them to Burrow as a to-do.

  1. Listening…
An example call with example people.

No bot

It notices the call and asks first.

Murmur sits in the menu bar. When a call starts, it offers to take notes. Say yes and it listens; say no and it stays quiet. Nobody on the call sees a bot join.

After the call

Your scribbles, turned into notes.

Your own notes plus the transcript become meeting notes you'd actually reread: what was decided, what's next and who's doing it.

  • Read your meetings on the web, with search across what was said.
  • Make a Burrow task from any action item, there or on your Mac.

Transcribed on your Mac

Speech is turned into text on device. Transcripts and notes live in a folder on your Mac.

Audio only if you ask

Recordings aren't kept unless you turn on Keep recordings. The words stay; the sound goes.

Start it by hand

In person, or a call app it doesn't know? Start and stop from the menu bar.

How it connects

One account. One place it all lands.

Action items become tasks in Burrow, and sending one twice gives you the same task, not a copy. Your meetings show up in Burrow next to everything else your apps made.

Pricing

One subscription, the apps you pick.

Murmur isn't on sale yet. When it opens, it joins the same basket. Pick the Meadow apps you want: $2 a month for one, $4 for two, $5 for three.

Questions about Murmur

Does a bot join my calls?

No. Murmur listens on your Mac: your microphone is You, and your Mac's sound is Them. Nobody on the call sees anything join.

Is the audio kept?

Not unless you turn on Keep recordings. Audio is transcribed on your Mac and then the sound goes.

Can I edit notes on the web?

Not yet. The web shows your notes, transcripts and action items, and makes Burrow tasks. Your Mac is where notes are written, so edits happen there.

When can I get it?

Murmur is launching. Join early access and we'll let you know when it opens.
