When you stop recording, the Studio opens it and zooms where you clicked. Pick a backdrop, turn the zooms off, or click the timeline to jump around.

Recording
Record a display, a window or an area. A countdown runs, then a small floating bar keeps the timer, pause, stop and discard. On the Mac the bar never shows up in the recording.
Captions
On the Mac, right after a recording is saved, Iris transcribes what you said while the Studio is already opening. Nothing is uploaded. The transcript becomes captions you can show or hide.
Reduce background noise runs your mic through the same voice processing FaceTime uses, and leaves the system audio alone.
Recordings live in your library until you export one. Send the file wherever it needs to go.
Sign in with your Meadow account to share a recording as a link. Sharing is the only part that needs an account.
How it connects
Firefly hands its screen recordings over to Iris. Recordings you share land in Burrow under From your apps, so a walkthrough sits next to the page it explains.
Pricing
Iris is one of them. Pick the Meadow apps you want: $2 a month for one, $4 for two, $5 for three.
No. Recording and editing work without one. You sign in only to share a recording as a link.
Nowhere until you export one. They stay in your library on this device; on the Mac, exports save to ~/Movies/Iris.
Recording from the menu bar, captions transcribed on your Mac, and noise reduction for your mic. It needs macOS 14 or later on Apple silicon.
