Hold the fn key and talk. Let go and Barky types the cleaned-up text into whatever app you're in: Mail, Slack, Notes, a code comment. Hold the key here (or focus it and hold Space) to dictate an example.

Cleanup
After you let go, Barky tidies the words before they land. By default that happens with Apple Intelligence on your Mac. Offline, a built-in cleaner still handles fillers, stutters and capitals.
Voice notes
Hold Right ⌥ instead and Barky keeps what you say as a note: a title, paragraphs, bullets, to-do boxes and topic tags. Every note is a plain Markdown file in your Barky Vault, ready for Obsidian, Apple Notes or Burrow.
Parakeet, Whisper or Apple's recognizer, all on device. Your audio doesn't leave the machine.
Select text, press ⌃⌥C and say "make this formal" or "translate to Spanish". It rewrites in place.
⌃⌥Space dictates and ⌃⌥N takes a note even before Accessibility is on; the text is copied for ⌘V.
How it connects
Every voice note shows up in Burrow under From your apps, where you can search it, link to it or copy it into a page. Edits you make on the web reach your Mac and iPhone on their next sync.
